When I visited this beautiful river, I didn’t have service on my phone. At first it made me really anxious not to receive work emails or texts from family and friends. But then something great happened.
When I put down my phone, I opened my eyes to the beauty around me. I wasn’t snapchatting it or posing for the perfect Instagram picture. I picked up my actual camera and started taking photos again. I breathed in the fresh air, and without my phone in my hand, I was free from all worries.
I’ve challenged myself to do this more in my everyday routine by limiting my screen time on my iPhone. You can do this too in your settings. It’s worth it! ☀️
